An outstanding evening - Perfect weather, great people, beautiful aircraft and some delicious food.

Our first Business After Hours event was a smash success! People are still talking about it! Not only were there a number of great new connections made, but we also saw a revitalization in our volunteers that night! It's amazing how getting a taste of the big show can get you fired up!

If you missed it, you'll have another chance next year!

Special thanks to all the participating aircraft owners, Blue Sky Bistro, Hooters, Jennifer Kerr (Broomfield Chamber) & especially Clark Teasdale, Rocky Mountain Metro Airport & all our volunteers for a wonderful evening.

Visit with the Antique Aircraft Association of Colorado

What a great experience!! I was invited to give a presentation at the latest monthly meeting of the Antique Aircraft Association of Colorado on April 7. The presentation focused on the history of the event since 2002 (that's as far back as I go!) and the accomplishments, trials and tribulations since. We also had a GREAT discussion on all the opportunities our new venue presents to both Colorado Sport Aviation and all the Colorado based aviation and youth based non-profit organizations.

I'm glad to say that I also learned a good amount about their Taylorcraft Project as well. They're enlisting local youth to help rebuild/restore a 1946 Taylorcraft BC-12D. You can learn more about it here: www.dekle.net/AAA/.  What a great way to get folks, both young and old, inspired about flying and airplanes... Perfect!
