The 2011 Rocky Mountain Airshow is fully staffed. If you have already registered as a volunteer, here's what you need to know:

Volunteer parking is shown on the map under the "Parking" tab or you can click here. If the lot is full, please park in any designated parking area and take the shuttle/people mover to the main admissions gate. Once you arrive at the front gate area, look toward the airport terminal and you'll see some signs along the fence directing you to Volunteer Check-In. That's where you'll receive specific directions to your work area.
 

Things to Remember to Bring with you:

 

Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cap. If you registered as part of a group that is receiving a donation from Colorado Sport Aviation or if you are part of a "vendor booth" in Adventure Zone, please bring a lunch or money to purchase lunch from one of our outstanding vendors. If you are an independent volunteer working 4 or more hours, you are invited to join us for lunch in the Volunteer Chalet. Your department head will have more information for you. Any volunteer (group or independent) is welcomed to bring a lunch and store it in the chalet.

Independent volunteers working any time during the weekend (but especially Sunday) are invited to join us for our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at 6pm in the Volunteer Chalet. Please take a minute to RSVP so we can be sure to have enough food for all!

 

Important Note:

 

We'd love for you to use this opportunity to teach your kids about volunteerism, and we know it would be more fun to have the family together; however, children under 16 will have to wait until they are older to volunteer, and we ask that if you bring them with you, please have someone else along to supervise them - after all, this is a working airfield with vehicles, winged and wheeled, everywhere! Also note that as a volunteer your admission is free, but non-volunteer family or friends will need to stop at the ticket booth.
